Joining a new company can be dauting and life in London can be lonely (especially if you're new around here). We are a great team that likes to be social and can thus provide the support you might need. Working with fun people you like makes at least 40 hours a week a lot more enjoyable
Every week after Friday lunch, we bring out the drinks and snacks and hear an update from Bertie the CEO (even when he's abroad!) and then listen to somebody around the company chat about what they're working on or an idea they'd like to share. This allows for everybody to find out what others are working on and gives everybody a chance to practice their public speaking skills if they'd like too. However, it is also a great opportunity to have some tipple and food - if it's been your birthday, you'll be in for some cake too!
Company days out
It's incredibly important to everybody at Flubit feels like part of the team, working towards a common cause. Once we reached the threshold where we no longer all fit into one office (we have two next to each other) we introduced company days out where we literally all stop working for a day and go do something fun together. In the past we've done GoApe, GoKarting, Climbing over the O2, we've kayaked, high roped, bell-boat raced, and lately we've even been killing zombies and we even ran our own FlubiLympics ... be part of the next one!
There's other changes to get to know everybody you work with - join one of our work socials which usually follows on from our demo's. In the past we've been bowling, ping 'poinging', we've watched Sin City and Back to the Future on our office projectors, we've played Fifa, we've been to Pub Quizes and we've had our own quiz.. the list goes on an on.
We have regular pool, table tennis, Fifa '16 and fantasy football tournaments (and you're free to start another one if you wish) going around the office. It's a great way to get a bit competitive and get to know everybody in the office.
Flubit have their own football team, that needs a little help to win more matches. All levels welcome - run around, enjoy the sun and break up the work day. Join the Flubit at the Tamebay cup once a year!
Start your own
If there's something you love doing, then why not start it yourself. For example one of our team members started a Get Fit club, and someone else has built the first Flubit library. Why not bring your interests to us?
